Job Title: Med-Surg Nurse
Location: Globe, AZ
Shift: 12 hr nights (7p-7a)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med-Surg Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Med-Surg Nurse will provide care for patients who are recovering from medical conditions or surgeries. They will monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and assist with procedures as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and monitor patients' conditions
2. Administer medications and treatments
3. Assist with procedures such as wound care and IV placement
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
5. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease management
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
7. Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
8. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Registered Nurse license
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg setting
4. BLS and ACLS certification
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
8. Attention to detail and organizational skills
